MG did a big fat poo in the middle of the night, which in a way was great, because at 3am GMT I got to check in on all the live Oscar action, rather then just read the summaries the following day. From what I could see it was a right knees up… pizza, Brad, selfies, that never get stale ‘Happy Song’ and did I say Brad? For the mums out on the Hollywood tiles, it was a much more sophisticated affair, effortless glamour in a grown up colours…here come the dresses.

After what has been a horrendous start to her year, Julia Roberts, mum to three children, wore a sombre black Givenchy lace dress, featuring an on trend peplum detail and unfortunately ill-fitting tailoring style bodice (she still has that killer smile eh?)
